Our History
Roof Maintenance Systems was incorporated in New Jersey in 1973 by founder Robert F. Martin, RRC, FRCI, as a full-service roof consulting and repair firm. What began as a regional operation has grown into one of the preeminent roof consulting firms in the country.
Our continued growth is built on technical excellence, integrity, and a commitment to delivering objective, client-focused solutions.
Our team is composed of highly experienced professionals dedicated exclusively to roofing and building enclosure performance. We maintain a licensed Professional Engineer on staff and include credentialed members of the international Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants who hold designations as Registered Roof Consultants (RRC) and Registered Roof Observers (RRO).
Our President, William Tipton, serves on the wind investigation team of the Roofing Industry Committee on Weather Issues (RICOWI), sponsored by Oak Ridge National Laboratory. As part of this rapid-response team, he assists in evaluating major hurricane damage following landfall events across the United States.
